We provide a modern touch to the traditional art of shoemaking and made to order service. We bring back the classical styles, spade and its customer jouney into modern light. The process of purchasing a pair of shoes goes through the following main stages.
The biggest challenge with trying out a new brand is size. Each maker has their own lasts and size references. For a made to order of existing lasts we recommend you to use our measurements guide and send us your measurements for evaluation for a proper recommendation of existing last and size. We offer last modifications, special width and try on shoes, this of course require closer collaboration between the wearer and us to provide perfect fit
With us you don’t get a determined style with a pre determined leather. You choose a style that suits you and customize it to your liking. This allows creative combinations usually not found elsewhere. The styles are divided into three segments.
The Classics, these are historical references to the 30s-50s. These styles uses features that we can historically document for eras related to spade soles and alike.
The Controversals, these styles challenging styles made to take up the conversation, extroverted designs you either love or hate.
The Conservative, styles made by modern interpretations with less extravagance.
We want to craft the shoes not only to ensure good fit, but to create esthetics that resonates with your personal preferences. This means you get to choose what upper leather to use, the dyes for contrast colors and lasts.This means you have full autonomy to customize and modify to your liking.
MTO is of course no new concept in the high end shoe business, but we wanted to help you visualize your designs by using our online configurator platform.
Production takes about 1-2 months depending on demand and resources. Generally we aim to finish within 1 month for a simple MTO, however more complex orders will require further production and preparation stages. Bellow you can find the differant stages from an order is placed.
